Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State, inspected the 49-kilometre Eiyenkorin–Afon–Ojoku–Offa–Odo-Otin concrete road project in Okesho, Asa Local Government Area (LGA).
The Governor expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this “crucial infrastructure, saying, it would “significantly reduce travel time between Ilorin, Offa, and surrounding communities”.
Abdulrazaq said, the people of Kwara State support the President’s “transformative agenda into a second term beyond 2027”.
Governor Abdulrazaq announced via X: “This weekend, I inspected the 49-kilometre Eiyenkorin–Afon–Ojoku–Offa–Odo-Otin road project, which is currently under construction, as well as the ongoing renovation of the Primary Healthcare Centre in Okesho, Asa Local Government Area.
“The concrete road which is one of four major projects being funded in Kwara State under the federal tax credit scheme, is facilitated in this instance by the BUA Group and it shows impressive quality and durability.
“We are grateful to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this crucial infrastructure. It is a major milestone that will significantly reduce travel time between Ilorin, Offa, and surrounding communities.

“This project is a strong example of the Renewed Hope Agenda in action. It reflects the effectiveness of current policies, increased funding for infrastructure, and real, visible development across our state.
“The people of Kwara State stand firmly with Mr. President and wholeheartedly support the continuation of his transformative agenda into a second term beyond 2027.
“I also commend the BUA Group for the excellent execution of the project. Their work on this and the ongoing Bode Sadu–Kaiama–Kosubosu road is truly first-class. My team and I have visited those sites as well, and we are impressed by the high standards being maintained.”
