Kingsley Coman departs Bayern Munich, joins Al Nassr

French winger, Kingsley Coman, has parted ways with German club, Bayern Munich, for Saudi Professional League club, Al Nassr.

29-year old Coman joined the German record champions on loan from Serie A club, Juventus, in the summer of 2015 before the transfer was made permanent two years later.

Coman clinched nine (9) Bundesliga titles, the Champions League and the Club World Cup with the Bavarians. He netted the winner in the 1-0 victory over French side, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), in the 2020 Champions League final.

The Frenchman recorded 339 competitive appearances for Bayern Munich, netting 72 goals and creating 71. He accumulated a total of nine (9) Bundesliga titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, three DFB Cups, six German Supercups and the UEFA Super Cup with Bayern.

Coman recorded his senior debut for his country, France, during his time in Munich, Germany, so far earning 58 caps and netting eight goals. He helped France win the 2021 Nations League and finished runner-up in the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2016 with Les Bleus.

According to the Club’s official website, Board Member for Sport, Max Eberl, said: “We’d like to thank Kingsley Coman from the bottom of our hearts for a uniquely successful time together. He earned an eternal place in the club’s history with his goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. King will always be part of FC Bayern, and we wish him all the best for his new challenge.”
