Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, inspected the ongoing construction of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Center (EIICC) and the Assumpta Flyover on Friday.
Uzodimma said, “work is advancing steadily” as the EIICC structure is “progressing impressively”, and noted “substantial improvements” in the areas of drainage system and access routes at Assumpta Flyover.
The Governor said, his administration is focused on delivering “durable and efficient traffic solution”.
Governor Uzodimma disclosed on X: “Work is advancing steadily at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Center (EIICC) and the Assumpta Flyover, as I observed during my inspection of the projects.

“The EIICC structure is progressing impressively, with significant milestones already achieved in both the main hall and ancillary facilities. Construction teams are working with commendable precision, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are maintained.
“At the Assumpta Flyover, I noted substantial improvements in the superstructure, drainage systems, and access routes. The pace of work reflects a clear commitment to delivering a durable and efficient traffic solution.”
