Governor Oborevwori visits multi-billion Naira Udu Harbour Market and Enerhen Flyover Bridge

Executive Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, visited the multi-billion Naira Udu Harbour Market and the Enerhen Junction Flyover Bridge on Saturday 2 August, 2025 to assess firsthand ongoing construction and ensure it moves parallel with the South-South State’s development priorities.

Features of the Udu Harbour Market include, “604 lock-up shops, 126 open stalls, a modern abattoir” – these will help “boost local commerce and improve market structure”.

The Governor also inspected the construction of the Enerhen Junction Flyover Bridge which is being erected to “ease traffic congestion”, as well as, “improve connectivity within Warri and its environs”.

According to the Delta State Government: “In another development, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori visited the multi-billion Naira Udu Harbour Market and the Enerhen Junction Flyover Bridge yesterday to assess ongoing work and ensure alignment with the state’s development priorities.

“The Udu Harbour Market project features 604 lock-up shops, 126 open stalls, a modern abattoir, and other facilities aimed at boosting local commerce and improving market infrastructure for traders and residents.

“At the Enerhen Junction, the governor inspected progress on the flyover bridge designed to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within Warri and its environs.

“He reaffirmed that both projects are integral to the MORE Agenda’s focus on infrastructure, economic growth, and job creation.”
