English defender, Djed Spence, has put pen to paper on a new, long-term contract with Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur.
Since moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Middlesbrough in July, 2022, the full-back has recorded forty-two (42) appearances in Spurs colours to date, netting two goals.
Making his full debut in the Premier League in Tottenham’s 5-0 whitewash over Southampton in December, 2024, he performed beautifully across the winter before heading on to score his first Premier League goal in February as Spurs emerged 4-1 winners at Ipswich Town.
Later that month, Spence was nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for the first time.
A member of Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham’s Uefa Europa League success last term, the 25-year-old has previously spent loan spells with Stade Rennais, Leeds United and Genoa.
He has represented England up to Under-21 level to date.
