China willing to contribute to Afghanistan’s ‘development and revitalization’

Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, has said, China is “willing” to contribute to the “development and revitalization” of Afghanistan.

Yi also said, China is ready to help enhance Afghanistan’s capacity to grow independently, as well as, uphold Justice for the country by opposing “unreasonable” freezing of its assets.

This is coming as Chinese FM Wang Yi met with Afghan Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani in Kabul, Capital of Afghanistan.

According to ChinaDaily:

China hopes to work with Afghanistan to promote the development of ties, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Thursday.
When asked at a regular news conference whether China recognizes the Afghan interim government, Mao said China follows a friendly policy toward all Afghan people.
Mao’s remarks came after Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived at Kabul on Wednesday to visit Afghanistan and attend the sixth trilateral foreign ministers’ dialogue among China, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Lin Jian, Chinese Miniatry of Foreign Affairs Spox, posted on X: “#China is willing to contribute to Afghanistan’s development and revitalization, enhance its capacity for independent growth, continue to uphold justice for #Afghanistan through multilateral mechanisms, and oppose unreasonable pressure on Afghanistan and the freezing of its assets.”
