British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Gill Lever, took a tour of the Smart Green Schools in Enugu State, as well as, the Government Technical College (GTC).
Lever made the tour as part of her working visit to the Enugu Government House; and promised to return to the Southeastern State when the Smart Green Schools resume.
Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, said, the Smart Green Schools and GTC are “landmark” projects that show the State’s dedication to he transformation of education and creation of “skill-driven learning environments”.
Governor Mbah posted on X: “I had the honour of receiving the Deputy British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Gill Lever, during a working visit at the Government House.
“As part of her visit, she toured our Smart Green Schools and the Government Technical College (GTC), Enugu – two landmark projects that reflect our commitment to transforming education and creating sustainable, innovative, and skills-driven learning environments.
“I thank Ms. Lever for her promise to return when our Smart Schools resume, a gesture that reinforces the shared vision of building an educational system that truly empowers our future generations.
“Education remains at the heart of our transformation agenda, and with the support of partners who, share our vision, we are confident of raising a generation fully prepared for the future.”
