Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Ajibade, has sent her words of encouragement to “young girls with dreams in their eyes”.
The Nigeria Women’s Football team Captain said, “Hold on to your passion. Work hard. Your time is coming.”
Ajibade made the statement as the Super Falcons continue to celebrate their WAFCON triumph.
Expressing her gratitude to God for the accomplishment of Mission X, Ajibade said, the triumph in Morocco is “a testament to the relentless spirit of this team”.
The Atletico Madrid Women’s forward expressed gratitude to the “12th player” of the Super Falcons, the fans, saying, their “cheers from home and abroad” helped Nigeria emerge victorious in Rabat on Saturday night.
Rasheedat Ajibade wrote on X: “We did it! Mission X accomplished!Words can’t fully express what this moment means. This isn’t just our 10th WAFCON trophy, it’s a testament to the relentless spirit of this team. Every tackle, every pass, every moment of pure grit on that field was for each other, for our country, and for every single one of you who believed in us.
