More congratulations for the Super Falcons following Nigeria’s beautiful glory in Morocco in the WAFCON 2024!!
Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, has congratulated the Super Falcons after their WAFCON 2024 triumph in Morocco.
The Governor described Nigeria’s win on Saturday night as a “Well-deserved triumph”, saying, the comeback win over Morocco shows the “resilience and invincibility of the Nigerian spirit”, adding, with unity Nigerians can achieve even more.
Nigeria defeated Morocco 3-2 in the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) final on Saturday 26 July, 2025 at Stade Olympique in Rabat to cart home their 10th trophy.
In his congratulatory message via X Governor Mbah wrote: “Congratulations, #SuperFalcons, on your well-deserved #WAFCON2025 triumph. Coming from two goals down to beat the Moroccans to the trophy underscores the resilience and invincibility of the Nigerian spirit and what we can achieve as a people by working together in oneness of mind.
