French side, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG), said, they did not get the outcome they wanted on Sunday night, however, they are “incredibly proud of this historic season”.
This is coming after the Les Parisiens lost 3-0 in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 to Chelsea at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday 13 July, 2025.
PSG wrote on X: “We didn’t get the result we wanted in the Club World Cup final — but we’re incredibly proud of this historic season.The journey has only just begun.
“From Los Angeles to Seattle, Atlanta to New York City, these past few weeks in the U.S. were unforgettable.To the thousands of fans who welcomed us with open arms — thank you.
“We are Paris.”
PSG are Ligue 1, Coupe De France and Uefa Champions League winners.
Cole Palmer inspired Enzo Maresca’s Blues with a brace before Joao Pedro sealed it up with the third.
PSG French attacking midfielder, Desire Doue, emerged Best Young Player of the tournament following his outstanding contributions to the French side’s campaign in the USA.
