The Presidency, through Bayo Onanuga, has once again reacted to the newly formed Coalition.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, said in an interview, “the coalition is not a threat to the APC”.
Onanuga further said, even if 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi; and 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, decide to merge, they will still not be able to defeat “a Bola Tinubu and Shettima ticket”.
The Coalition members adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the Party for the General Elections in 2027; and promised to make the welfare of Nigerians its top priority.
Sunday Dare posted: “As far as the APC is concerned, we are not seeing the coalition as any threat. Even if you merge Peter Obi and Atiku together, there is no way the two of them can beat a Bola Tinubu and Shettima ticket; it is not going to be possible.
