The African Democratic Congress (ADC) said, the mission to rescue Nigeria from the hands of “incompetence, corruption, and neglect” has started.
It said, Nigerians are tired of waiting, hoping and begging for change as “systems and leaders have failed and disappointed” the country, leading to “delayed dreams”.
This is coming following the declaration of the Coalition which has members from various Parties with the aim to defeat the APC government in 2027.
Peter Obi, member of the ADC Coalition, assured the “movement” will prioritize the welfare of Nigerians and pull down “structures” that have plunged Nigerians into “insecurity and poverty”.
Via X, the ADC said: “For years, Nigerians have waited, hoped, and begged for change. We’ve watched as systems failed us, leaders disappointed us, and dreams were delayed. We’ve been told to be patient, to endure, to adjust but now, it’s time to act.This is not just another political season. It’s a rescue mission for our future. It’s about taking back our country from the hands of incompetence, corruption, and neglect. It’s about ordinary people coming together to build something better something we can all be proud of.
“The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is not here to play politics as usual. We are here to listen, to serve, and to lead with integrity. No godfathers. No backdoor deals. Just a genuine movement of Nigerians ready to fix what’s broken starting from the grassroots.
“We are tired. But we’re not giving up.We’re organizing. We’re registering. We’re voting.
