President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, met with Executive of Boeing, an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rockets and more, to discuss the partnership with Air Senegal.
The meeting held on the sidelines of the Senegalese President’s visit to the White House on the invitation of US President, Donald Trump.
According to the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal via X: “On the sidelines of his visit to the White House, @PR_Diomaye met with @Boeing executives to discuss the partnership with Air Senegal, welcomed leaders from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and engaged with a delegation of Senegalese officials from the IMF and the World Bank.”
According to Al Jazeera: “On Wednesday, Trump hosted leaders from Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania and Senegal at the White House for talks and a working lunch, with discussions expected to centre on business opportunities, according to a White House official. Trump said the five countries were unlikely to face US tariffs.
“During the lunch, Trump said the leaders hail from “very vibrant places with very valuable land, great minerals, great oil deposits and wonderful people”.”
