Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi; former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; and former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, at the prayer session for the soul of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The prayer session held on Wednesday 16 July, 2025 following the burial of the former Head of State at his residence in Daura, Katsina State on Tuesday 15 July, 2025.
Bashir Ahmad, Former Special Adviser to the Late President, Buhari, expressed “sincere appreciation” to the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for creating time to visit Daura to condole with the family of the former Minister of Petroleum.
Ahmad posted on X: “We sincerely appreciate Mr. @PeterObi for finding time to visit Daura to condole with the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari. He also extended his heartfelt condolences to us. We wish him a safe journey back home.”
