Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Colombian attacker Jhon Arias from Brazilian club Fluminense on a four-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
27-year old Arias moves to the Old Gold after impressing at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in the USA this summer and will reunite with Andre, who he played with at Fluminense, and international teammate Yerson Mosquera.
With the capability to play across the attacking line behind a central striker, Arias joins with both personal accolades and team titles to his name from playing in Colombia and Brazil and recorded 31 international caps to date.
Arias kicked off his professional career with Patriotas in his home nation in 2018 and he fielded over 100 times in Colombia, also clinching experience on loan with Llaneros, before moving permanent to America de Cali and Santa Fe as a youngster.
The Colombian glowed on the world stage in the United States (US), starring in the Brazilian club’s run to the semi-final by being named Player of the Match against Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan HD and Inter Milan, and bagging a place in the competition’s Team of the Tournament.
