Official: Leeds United complete signing of midfielder Anton Stach

Newly promoted club, Leeds United, have signed German midfielder, Anton Stach, from German club, TSG Hoffenheim, on a four-year contract, subject to international clearance and a work permit.

The contract signed by the 26-year old will keep him at Elland Road until 2029; Stach becomes the sixth summer addition for Daniel Farke’s side, as preparations continue for a return to the Premier League.

Stach comes with experience and more quality to the midfield areas after featuring in the Bundesliga for the last five (5)years.

His spell at the German top tier football was spent with Mainz 05 and TSG Hoffenheim and he previously won promotion from 2. Bundesliga with Greuther Furth.

Stach recorded more than 250 career appearances in all competitions and brings further versatility to The Peacocks, having fielded in both midfield and defence when required.

On the international stage, Stach has recorded two senior caps for his country, Germany.

In the 2024/25 season, Stach fielded in six (6) matches in the 2024/25 Europa League campaign for Hoffenheim and he netted against eventual Winners Tottenham Hotspur, improving his abilities at the highest levels of the game.
