Chelsea announce the signing of Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.
Gittens, English winger, agreed a deal that will make him stay at Stamford Bridge until 2032.
The 20-year-old Englishman arrives at the Blues having earned relevant experience in both the German Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League.
Since making his debut, Gittens has recorded over 100 appearances for The Black and Yellow, and has also been capped at Under-21 level for England.
According to Chelsea official website, Gittens said: “It feels great. It’s a great feeling to join such a big club as Chelsea.
“I can’t wait to learn from everyone in the team and to push myself to the max here. It’s an amazing feeling.”
Gittens made the move to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020 and immediately established himself as a member of the first-team squad at Signal Iduna Park.
He recorded his debut late in the 2021/22 season before having a breakout campaign the next term, scoring his first senior goal in August of that year.
