Arsenal Football Club has announced the signing of Denmark International, Christian Norgaard, to the club.
Norgaard, 31-year old midfielder, arrives the Emirates Stadium from Brentford, where he recorded 196 appearances in all competitions, encompassing 122 in the Premier League, finding the back of the net thirteen (13) times, and assisting 18 times.
Norgaard kicked off his career with Lyngby in his homeland, scaling through the club’s youth academy and clinching his first-team debut at the age of 17. He then had a brief time in Germany with Hamburg as an 18-year-old, before making his way back to Denmark in August 2013 to join Superliga club Brondby.
During his time at Brondby, Norgaard emerged an important player, displaying his natural leadership. The midfielder was voted as Player of the Year in 2017 and also pivotal in the team’s winning of the Danish Cup in 2017/18.
During five years with Brondby, he recorded 147 appearances in all competitions, netting twelve (12) times with nine (9) assists.

Norgaard will flaunt the number 16 shirt and will instantly link up with his new teammates for pre-season.
