Italian Serie A club, AC Milan, has announced that defender Pervis Estupiñan has joined the Club on a permanent basis from English club, Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
The Ecuadorian defender has put pen to paper on a contract with the Rossoneri that will keep him for the next five years, until 30 June 2030.
Born in Esmeraldas, Ecuador on 21 January 1998, the defender kicked off his footballing career in LDU Quito’s youth system.
Estupiñan recorded his first-team debut for La U in September 2015 and went ahead to make 45 appearances for the club.
He then had periods at Granada, Almería, Mallorca and Osasuna before moving to Villarreal. With the Submarino Amarillo, he recorded 74 appearances and lifted the Europa League.
In the summer of 2022, he joined Brighton and went on to net five (5) goals in 104 games for the Seagulls. He made his full international debut for Ecuador in 2019; and since then, he has 48 caps and four goals for La Tri.
Estupiñan will wear shirt number 2.
