Newly promoted Barau FC has announced, it has reached an agreement to appoint Coach Ladan Bosso as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Barau FC announced on X: “Barau FC, has announced that it has reached an agreement to appoint Coach Ladan Bosso as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/2026 football season. Details of his contract and official unveiling will be communicated in due course.”
Barau FC gained promotion to the Nigerian First Football League system, NPFL, from the Nigeria National League (NNL) after emerging victorious in Matchday 3 of the Super Eight Playoffs.
Barau FC is featuring in the Nigerian top flight for the first time in its history.
Ladan Bosso, former coach of the Nigeria national under-20 football team, nicknamed the Flying Eagles, led the team to the quarter-final stage of the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Bosso was appointed Technical Director by Nigerian football club Wikki Tourist in December 2011, but, left in November 2012.
