‘NNPP’s Kwankwaso on the verge of joining APC’

Bashir Ahmad, Former Special Adviser to ex President, Muhammadu Buhari, said, Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is “on the verge of joining APC”.

This is coming after Kashim Shettima, Vice President, referred to the former Governor of Kano State as ““NNPP-APC””.

Ahmad said, this is a “strong signal” that Kwankwaso is close to becoming a part of the ‘Broom’ Party, adding, the former Minister of Defence joining the APC will bring about the unity of Kano State “politically”.

Bashir Ahmad wrote: “If nothing else, Vice President Shettima referring to Senator Kwankwaso as “NNPP-APC” is a strong signal that the NNPP leader and his teeming supporters are on the verge of joining our great party, the APC.

“This will help to have a politically united Kano—something long desired for the progress and stability of our state.”
