The MICU ambulances are equipped with the latest emergency medical tools which include, oxygen supply systems, and other essential life support equipment.
This is coming following heightening risks of disasters induced by climate.

The NEMA DG further made known: “The MICU ambulances are equipped with modern emergency medical tools, including oxygen supply systems, patient monitoring devices, suction kits, and other essential life support equipment. These features make them suitable for stabilizing patients during transit to medical facilities, thereby significantly improving survival chances in emergencies.
“With the increasing risk of climate-induced disasters, particularly flooding, our teams must be well-equipped to provide immediate and effective life-saving interventions.
“We will continue to intensify community sensitization campaigns, stakeholder coordination meetings, and ramp up our flood simulation exercises across all the geo-political zones, in line with our broader disaster risk reduction strategies.”
