‘Learn your lessons, the new generation of Nigerians are unrestrained in their anger’ – Senator Sani warn Nigerian Leaders

Senator Shehu Sani has issued a serious warning to Nigerian Leaders to “take lessons” from the series of “unrefined emotions” from Nigerians in the last 48 hours.

The Senator’s warning is coming following the passing of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.

The “unrefined emotions” reveal the minds of Nigerians towards the Late former Head of State, who passed in a clinic in London on Sunday evening.

However, the emotions are mixed.

Senator Sani continued, the “new generation” of Nigerians are “retributive citizens”, and are “unrestrained” when it comes to “anger”.

Senator Shehu Sani wrote on X: “The present and future crop of Nigerian leaders should take lessons from the wave of unrefined emotions of Nigerians in the last 48hours; a new generation of retributive citizens have evolved: unrestrained in their anger, unfiltered in their bitterness and unforgiving in their souls.”

Buhari’s body has arrived in Katsina and will be received by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the burial later on Tuesday.

The President declare Tuesday 15 July, 2025 public holiday in honour of the former President.
