President of France, Emmanuel Macron, alongside his wife, Mrs. Macron, will commence their State visit to the United Kingdom (UK) later today, the Royal Family announced.
It further announced, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host the French President and Mrs. Macron at Windsor Castle as the Buckingham Palace is currently undergoing “Reserving Programme”.
The Royal Family announced via X: “Later today, President @EmmanuelMacron of France and Mrs. Macron will begin their State Visit to the UK.
“The King and Queen will host the President and Mrs. Macron at Windsor Castle, due to the Buckingham Palace Reservicing Programme.
“Whilst there have been State Visits at Windsor Castle in the past, the last one to be held there was in 2014 when the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, visited.”
