Executive Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, inspected the ongoing construction of the Benin-Asaba dual carriageway, as well as, other crucial infrastructure projects in Benin City on Wednesday 30 July, 2025.
The Benin-Asaba dual carriageway, which is a 10-lane expressway, is scheduled for completion before December.
The Governor also inspected the Amufi Road and Ramat Park Flyover; these projects when completed “will ease traffic and drive economic growth”.
Taking to X, Governor Okpebholo said: “I inspected the ongoing construction of the Benin–Asaba dual carriageway and other key infrastructure projects in Benin City.
“The 10-lane expressway, with 20km set for completion before December, stands as a bold testimony to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda becoming a reality here in Edo State.
“I also inspected the reconstruction work ongoing at Amufi Road, as well as the construction of the Ramat Park Flyover.These projects, when completed, will ease traffic, connect communities, and drive economic growth.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a vision. It is working.
“A New Edo Has Risen.”
