Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, for the success in bringing into reality the State-owned Commercial Airline, Enugu Air.
Enugu Air was unveiled on Monday 7 July, 2025 with the Minister in attendance, at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport.
Governor Mbah posted on X: “Today, we have our own airline. This vision could not have been realized without the immense support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT, the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo @fkeyamo, and the dedicated teams in the ministry and aviation agencies. We’re deeply grateful for their remarkable support through this journey.”
The Governor said, Enugu Air is taking off with three Embraer aircraft – “efficient, elegant birds made for our terrain”.
