Governor Kefas signs bill establishing Taraba State University of Tropical Agriculture and Climate Action

Executive Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, has signed a bill establishing the Taraba State University of Tropical Agriculture and Climate Action in Gembu, Sardauna LGA.

The signing of the bill held at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo on Monday 14 July, 2025.

The Institution will help “harness the abundant natural resources and potentials on the Mambilla Plateau”, as well as, strengthen the bilateral relationship with Cameroon.

Governor Kefas announced via X: “At TY Danjuma House in Jalingo, I signed the bill establishing the Taraba State University of Tropical Agriculture and Climate Action in Gembu, Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State.

“The establishment of this institution aims to harness the abundant natural resources and potentials on the Mambilla Plateau, and to also promote a bilateral relationship with the Republic of Cameroon amongst other benefits.

“Our commitment to education is unwavering, and we will continue to do our best to improve the total well-being of our people.”
