Kings of Germany, Bayern Munich, have reached an agreement for a one-year contract extension with German goalkeeper, Sven Ulreich, until the summer of 2026.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper moved to Allianz Arena from VfB Stuttgart in 2015. In 2020, he joined Hamburger SV for one season before making his way back to the German record champions.
Ulreich has recorded 103 competitive appearances for Bayern Munich to date. He has clinched the Bundesliga a record nine (9) times, the DFB Cup three (3) times, the DFL Supercup six (6) times and the Uefa Champions League and UEFA Super Cup once each.
According to the Club’s official website, Max Eberl, Bayern Munich Board Member for Sport, said: “Sven Ulreich is reliability personified: he delivers what he promises – in the truest sense of the word. Characters like him are good for any team. We’re delighted he’ll be spending another season with us.”
