X user (@kemo_bojang) has come out to express his gratitude to Late former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, saying, “without him, there wouldn’t have been a peaceful transition”.
The X user said, “The Gambia will forever be grateful to Buhari for all he has done.”
Under the leadership of Buhari, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) moved 200 men and air assets, led by Air Commodore Tajudeen Yusuf, to Dakar, Senegal, which is the base of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Military Intervention to force President Yahya Jammeh of The Gambia out of power.
