‘Enyimba FC pay me and players last season match bonuses’ – Ideye

Striker, Brown Aide Ideye, has called out his club, Enyimba Football Club, over unpaid matches bonuses.

Ideye, who was part of the Super Eagles that won the 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) under Late head coach, Stephen Keshi, expressed his disgust, saying, because he has money does not mean he should not ask for the one he worked for.

The striker, who fielded for Chinese club, Tianjin Teda, vented, “please pay me and the players last season match bonuses” tagging his club, The Elephants.

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2024/25 concluded in May, and the new season will kick off in August.

Brown Ideye cried out on X: “Because I get money I should not ask for the one I work for? Please pay me and the players last season match bonuses.. @EnyimbaFC

“The season ended in May, till now nothing. New season will start next month.”

Ideye fielded for Dynamo Kyiv, West Bromwich Albion, Olympiacos, Sochaux among other clubs before returning to play for the Aba-based Club.

Enyimba FC finished 6th in the NPFL 2024/25 with 55 points.
