Management Expert, Pat Utomi’s, has reacted to the threat by Monday Okpebholo, Executive Governor of Edo State, to former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
Okpebholo threatened Obi not to visit Edo State and that, the security of the 2023 Labour Party Presidential candidate is not guaranteed.
This threat came on the 64th birthday of Obi on Saturday 19 July, 2025.
Utomi said, Okpebholo’s threat has the capability to scare potential investors away from the South-South State and Nigeria.
In his reaction, Pat Utomi said: “I am worried Governors are threatening they cannot secure the life of people who they may not agree with.
“Do they realize how that sounds to potential investors. They are signaling that the coming anarchy is here. When the Leviathan says it cannot protect life what is left”
