English attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer, netted a beautiful brace in the 22nd and 30th minutes, converting assists from Malo Gusto and Levi Colwill respectively.
Palmer then created the third for new addition, Joao Pedro, in the 43rd minute.
Enzo Maresca’s Blues’ triumph is another addition to their first trophy of the 2024/25 season – the Uefa Europa Conference League – beating Real Betis 4-1 in Poland.
United States (US) President, Donald Trump, was in attendance at MetLife Stadium.
