Aston Villa can confirm Oliwier Zych has joined Raków Częstochowa on a season-long loan.
The young goalkeeper heads back to his native Poland after a previous loan spell in the Ekstraklasa with Puszcza Niepolomice.
Zych joined Villa from Zaglebie Lubin in the summer of 2020 and was an FA Youth Cup winner in 2021.
Capped by his country at youth level, he was also named in Poland’s provisional senior squad in preparation for Euro 2024.
Last term, Zych was a regular in Villa’s matchday squad and signed a new contract with the club in December 2024. | avfc.co.uk
