It was too easy for French club, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG), in the knockout stage against American side, Inter Miami, to reach the last eight of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Luis Enrique guided PSG to a beautiful 4-0 victory over Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the round of 16 match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 on Sunday 29 June, 2025 at Mercedes-Benz multi-purpose Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joao Neves scored a brace in the 6th and 39th minutes as the Les Parisiens breezed through Major League Soccer (MLS) side, Inter Miami, to clinch their spot in the quarter finals of the tournament with merciless efficiency.

Any hopes of a Miami comeback were totally struck out in the first 45 minutes as Messi and teammates barely got a look in, and their trouble deepened more when Tomas Aviles found the back of his own net in the 44th minute before Moroccan defender, Achraf Hakimi, sealed the victory for the Coupe De France 2024/25 Champions on the stroke of halftime.

PSG, who catwalked into the quarter finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, will face the winner between Brazilian side, Flamengo, or German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich.
