Manchester United has sent its retained list to the Premier League, including several players confirmed to be leaving the club.
Among those leaving Old Trafford are Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof, as there deals with the Club come to an end.
Eriksen, Danish midfieder, netted on his 108th and last appearance for the Reds, with a penalty in United’s 2-0 final-day win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford last month.
Lindelof and Evans also fielded for Ruben Amorim’s Reds in that clash, bringing up their 284th and 241st appearances, respectively.
For Lindelof, Captain of Sweden, it brought down the curtain on an eight-year career with Manchester United that has had him clinch Emirates FA Cup and League Cup winners’ medals, alongside Eriksen.
Meanwhile, Evans, departs with a series of honours earned over his two spells at United, since making his debut as an Academy graduate in 2007.
The Northern Irish defender went ahead to clinch three (3) Premier League titles, one (1) Champions League, one (1) Club World Cup and one (1) League Cup during his first spell at the club, before making his way back in 2023 and winning his first FA Cup medal with the club in the 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the final in 2024.
Tom Heaton, English goalkeeper, is also included on the list of free transfers, however, the United remains in discussions with the goalkeeper about a new deal that would see him stay as part of the squad for the 2025/26 season.
Heaton, like Evans, is an Academy graduate in his second spell at the club, after coming back in 2021 and going on to record three (3) first-team appearances, as well as being a highly cherised member of the goalkeeping group and wider squad.
Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan and Tom Wooster, all Academy players, complete the list of players that will exit Old Trafford this summer.
The Academy players will be supported in securing deals at new clubs.
