King Charles III has received President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, ahead of a crunch Nato summit in The Hague.
The Monarch welcomed the Ukrainian President on Monday 23 June , 2025 at Windsor Castle where they both enjoyed lunch.
The two leaders, who last met on March 2, were captured chatting as they made their way through the castle’s Grand Corridor, the King wearing a grey suit and Mr Zelensky in his usual black clothing.
The meeting is happening ahead of Mr Zelensky’s afternoon meeting with Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), in London.
Earlier this year, King Charles III met Mr Zelensky at Sandringham House, Norfolk. They posed briefly for photos before taking tea in the property’s Saloon room.
The Royal Family disclosed: “Today, The King welcomed the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to Windsor Castle for lunch.”
The hour-long audience in March took place after the Ukrainian leader attended a defence summit on Ukraine in London, England.
