Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), met with traders at the Apo Mechanic Village after commissioning the Life Camp Road.
He said, he expressed gratitude to the traders for the “rousing welcome” they handed Godswill Akpabio, President of the Nigerian Senate, who stood in place of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the commissioning of the Apo-Wassa road.
Wike said, it has been “promise on promise without fulfillment since 2011”, however, President Tinubu has made promises and has began the process.
The former Governor of Rivers State told the traders, they will be relocated to Wassa, assuring them that, the President will provide them critical infrastructure.
Wike said: “After commissioning the Life Camp Road, I visted the Apo Mechanic Village to meet the traders.
“I thanked them for the rousing welcome they gave the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the commissioning of the Apo-Wassa road.
“Through me, Mr President promised to ensure the relocation of the traders to Wassa, and I have assured that the relocation will be done. For me, agreement is agreement.
“We will not only relocate the traders to Wassa, we will provide critical infrastructure.

“It’s been promise on promise since 2011 without fulfilment, but Tinubu has promised, and the process has started.
“As part of the process, on June 27, together with the leaders of Apo Mechanics, we will all visit Wassa, to see the permanent site for the relocation.
“This will enable us to decide on the needed critical infrastructure to be put in place to facilitate your relocation.”
