FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Real Madrid V Al Hilal – President Perez attends Los Blancos training

Florentino Perez, President of Spanish La Liga outfit, Real Madrid, was seen at the training session of the Los Blancos on Tuesday 17 June, 2025.

Perez watched as players trained ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup showdown against Saudi Professional League club, Al Hilal, on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid will lock horns with Al Hilal in their first FIFA Club World Cup match on Wednesday 18 June, 2025 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at 20:00 (WAT).

The Los Blancos President attended the training session at The Gardens North County Park in Palm Beach alongside the Club’s Honorary President, José Martínez Pirri, and the Director of Football, Santiago Solari.

Newly appointed manager, Xabi Alonso, will guide Real Madrid, in the FIFA Club World Cup – his first task as the Spanish La Liga giants head coach – since leaving German Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen.

The Spaniard parted ways with the Black and Reds following the conclusion of the Bundesliga 2024/25. Bayer Leverkusen finished second on the table with sixty-nine (69) points, thirteen (13) points behind winners, Bayern Munich.

New addition, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who made the squad list of the Los Blancos, is expected to feature for the Spanish side when they clash with their Saudi opponents.

Real Madrid signed the English defender from Premier League club, Liverpool, after helping Arne Slot’s Reds clinch the Premier League 2024/25.

The feat was Liverpool’s 20th title, same as Manchester United, who couldn’t find their footing all through the season.
