FIFA Club World Cup 2025: New signings Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof available for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich New additions, Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof, will be available for the Bavarians for the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America (USA).

This is coming after the newly-crowned Kings of Germany reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim to allow the Germany internationals join Vincent Kompany’s side in time for the tournament.

The Bavarians will jet out to Orlando on Tuesday where they will base during the FIFA Club World Cup.

The opening match will take place on 14 June, with Bayern kicking off their group stage against Auckland City of New Zealand in Cincinnati the following day, Sunday 15 June, 2025 at 17:00 (WAT).

Bayern Munich will then slug it out with Argentina’s Boca Juniors in Miami on 19 June and Benfica of Portugal in Charlotte on 24 June.

According to the Club’s official website, Board Member for Sport at Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, said: “We’re happy we could reach agreements with Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, and that both Jonathan and Tom are now part of our squad. Both will expand our options at the Club World Cup.

“We’re all very excited for this new tournament in the USA, where we want to have a say in the title.”

Bayern Munich are heading to the FIFA Club World Cup after emerging Bundesliga 2024/25 Champions, dethroning Bayer Leverkusen, who clinched the crown in the 2023/24 Season without losing a single match, under the guidance of Spanish manager, Xabi Alonso.

Xabi Alonso has left Bayer Leverkusen and now appointed head coach of Spanish La Liga club, Real Madrid; his first task will be to lead the Los Blancos through the FIFA Club World Cup.

Jonathan Tah signed for Bayern Munich until 30 June, 2029.

Tom Bischof put pen to paper for a contract that will keep with Bayern Munich until 30 June, 2029.
