Badenoch’s statement is coming as a response to a tweet by the BBC which says: “A hat-trick of U-turned – and this is the most awkward of the lot.”

She said, Starmer’s “u-turn” moves will plunge the UK into “higher taxes or more borrowing”.

Kemi Badenoch quoted BBC’s tweet and commented: “For the third time in two weeks, Starmer has u-turned on major policy. His authority is collapsing.

“This creates a multi-billion-pound black hole that can only mean higher taxes or more borrowing. We offered to help if he reformed welfare. He refused. This has to stop.”

Tell us what you intend to do, at least attempt to show that what you will do is better than all of the other’s noncommittal plans. There are other options available and many of them, start by standing against the fans of the WEF and consult publicly about the dire state of our economy and the reason why we still insist on giving all economical controls to financiers and asset managers? Our country is far more than their con of an economic model and it seems blindingly obvious that the so-called economic experts work the system very well, to their advantage and at our expense, their investments are doing very well thank you very much, meanwhile a hardworking family cannot afford to pay for a home on two salaries, without government handouts.”
