Former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, celebrates his wife, and “university classmate”, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, as she turns a year older today, Saturday 21 June, 2025.
El-Rufai, who got married to Hadiza “nearly 40 years ago”, tagged his “best friend and teenage sweetheart” a “bundle of beauty and a taskmaster”.
El-Rufai.who served as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), confessed his life never had any meaning until he got married to Hadiza, adding, she is so disciplined and the one that organizes the home
In his birthday greetings to his wife, El-Rufai wrote on his official X account: “SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PRAYERS: Please join me and members of the El-Rufai Family to wish my best friend, university classmate, teenage sweetheart and dearest wife, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai a very happy birthday. We pray for Almighty Gid to continue to bless her with good health, long life and happiness.
“Hadiza is a bundle of brains, beauty and brawn, holder of three masters’ degrees – in architecture, business administration, and creative writing – fluent in French and a published novelist. I am immensely proud to call her my wife, my partner and enduring pillar of support.
“My life began to have meaning when married nearly 40 years ago. She is a taskmaster and disciplined organizer of our home.
