German Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich, home ground, Allianz Arena, is celebrating twenty (20) year with “special lighting”.
The club announced, “a white “20” will be visible on the red glowing facade from 9 p.m. until approximately 11 p.m.”
Allianz Arena was venue for the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 final which hosted Paris Saint-Germaine and Inter Milan on Saturday 31 May, 2025.
In the final of the Uefa Champions League 2024/25, French Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) led by Luis Enrique, humiliated Italian Serie A side, Inter, by a whopping five (5) goals to nil (0) in Munich, Germany.
The outcome emerged the Uefa Champions League final with the widest margin; it also was PSG’s first title in the competition.
Achraf Hakimi opened scoring, Desire Doue netted a brace, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu hit the back of the net once each.
Bayern Munich announced on its official X account: “Special lighting to celebrate 20 years of the Allianz Arena!
“To mark this milestone, the Allianz Arena will be illuminated with special lighting in the evening hours of 11 June. A white “20” will be visible on the red glowing facade from 9 p.m. until approximately 11 p.m.”
Vincent Kompany will guide Bayern Munich at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 scheduled to take place in the United States (US) across more than ten (10) Stadia.
The.newly crowned German Kings will lock horns with Auckland City in the first encounter in the competition.
