Lionel Messi was born on 24 June, 1987 in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
The Argentine played for Barcelona B for a season (2004/05), before he was integrated into the Club’s first team where he stayed a whopping seventeen (17) years from 2004 to 2021.
Messi remains the player with the highest number of Ballon D’Or awards, winning the prestigious prize a record eight (8) times.
