Zamfara State: Governor Lawal distributes 140 new operational vehicles to various security agencies in the State

Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, announced, his government distributed 140 new operational vehicles to various security agencies in the Northwestern State.

The Governor distributed the new operational.vehicles to commemorate the second anniversary of his administration.

He said, “the fleet comprises fully armoured Buffalo trucks, conventional Buffalo trucks, other patrol trucks, and ambulances”, adding, “this initiative underscores my unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property”.

The Governor further announced, he also commissioned fifty (50) Toyota Hilux buses for the Zamfara mass transit scheme.

Governor Lawal (X/@daudalawal_) said: “Yesterday, to commemorate the second anniversary of my administration, I distributed 140 new operational vehicles to various security agencies in Zamfara State. The fleet comprises fully armoured Buffalo trucks, conventional Buffalo trucks, other patrol trucks, and ambulances.

“This initiative underscores my unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property. Furthermore, it reflects my ongoing logistical support for our security agencies. We are confident that these vehicles will augment their mobility and efficiency in effectively combating criminal activities. I remain steadfast in my dedication to supporting our security agencies in overcoming our challenges , restoring our agricultural and industrial prosperity.

“I also commissioned fifty (50) Toyota Hilux buses for the Zamfara mass transit scheme. The well-improved scheme will in no way ease the transportation for inter- and intra-commuters and will also enhance our revenue.”
