Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Manchester United in the Uefa Europa League final at Estadio San Mamés, Bilbao, Spain on Wednesday 21 May, 2025 at 20:00 (WAT).
According to manutd.com
Lucas Bergvall has been ruled out by Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, with the young midfielder watching on as the squad trained at San Mames this afternoon.
Pape Matar Sarr is fit, though, overcoming a back issue that prompted a scare when he was withdrawn during the defeat to Aston Villa last Friday.
James Maddison has travelled but has also been declared unavailable, while several players are ineligible, including Antonin Kinsky, Fraser Forster, Timo Werner and former Red Sergio Reguilon. Dejan Kulusevski has joined Radu Dragusin and Dane Scarlett on the sidelines.
Influential centre-backs Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are both ready to start.
To reach the UEL final, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur defeated Athletic Club and Bodøe/Glimt, 7-1 and 5-1 on aggregate respectively in the semi final.
