Bruno Fernandes netted twice as English side, Manchester United, grabbed a commanding lead in their Europa League semi-final with a beautiful 3-0 first-leg triumph at 10-man Spanish side, Athletic Club.
Ruben Amorim’s United were three in front at half-time after breaking through Europe’s tightest home defence at the Estadio de San Mames, where the LaLiga side hadn’t suffered any loss since August.
Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, opened scoring for the visitors in the 30th minute, utilizing M. Ugarte’s assist, and Fernandes made it two from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.
Athletic Club made two substitutions to try and stop United’s pressure, however, the Portuguese midfielder added a third before the half was finished, slotting home from Ugarte’s amazing backheel to place the Reds in dreamland.

Another positive move from Manchester United as Ivorian star, Amad Diallo, came off the bench to make his first appearance since early February ahead of the second leg at Old Trafford next Thursday.
On the other side, Tottenham defeated Bodøe/Glimt 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
