The unrest expanding in Sudan knows no bounds, Volker Turk, UN Human Rights Chief, says. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched coordinated attacks three (3) days ago from diverse directions on the besieged city of El Fasher and Abu Shouk camp, leading to the killing of at least forty (40) civilians.
This confirms the number of civilians killed in North Darfur to at least 542 within the last three (3) weeks. The actual death toll is likely much more.
Horrific videos going viral on social media reveal at least thirty (30) men in civilian clothing being rounded up and killed by armed men in RSF uniforms in Al Salha in southern Omdurman.
