President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, said, “Smart nations and companies prioritise workers’ welfare” by ensuring “decent wages, health, pension, life work balance, skills and professional development”.
Adesina made the statement in commemoration of International Workers’ Day 2025, Thursday 1 May, 2025.
