2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has sent his greetings to Rotimi Amaechi on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the former Governor of Rivers State.
Atiku (X/@atiku) wrote: “The impact you continue to have on the development of our country is inspiring”, adding, “It cannot be questioned that you are a thoroughbred statesman”.
Rotimi Amaechi as born on 27 May, 1965 in Ikwerre, Rivers State, Nigeria.
He served as Governor of Rivers State for two terms of four (4) years each, from 2007 to 2015; and served as Minister of Transportation under the government of Muhammadu Buhari from 2019 to 2022.
The former Vice President prayed, “abundant grace, honour and peace in the many wonderful years ahead” for the former Minister.
In his birthday message to Rotimi Amaechi, Atiku wrote: “My dear friend @ChibuikeAmaechi. The impact you continue to have on the development of our country is inspiring.
