President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced, he has sworn in newly appointed Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Commissioners and members of the Board of Code of Conduct.
The swearing in held at the State House, Abuja.
The President “encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their roles and actively contribute to the advancement of both organisations”, adding, “their efforts will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of our electoral processes and promoting accountability”.
Via his official X account, President Tinubu (X/@officialABAT) said: “I swore in the newly appointed Independent National Electoral Commission commissioners and members of the Board of the Code of Conduct at the State House in Abuja.
“I encourage them to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their roles and actively contribute to the advancement of both organisations. Their efforts will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of our electoral processes and promoting accountability, ultimately benefiting our nation as a whole.”
